Donald J. and Deborah A. Weisend Obituary

Reunited in Heaven, Donald J. Weisend and Deborah A. Weisend Nee Kovach, were married on May 14, 1977.  They celebrated their lives together with their family until their deaths.  Our parents leaned on one another through trials and ordeals of life.  It was said that our dad needed mom as a crutch to get up the stairs to heaven and how fitting that truly was because as they were soulmates in life, their journey will continue on in Heaven.

Donald J. Weisend, age 65, passed away peacefully at home on December 10, 2021.

He was born on August 27, 1956 in Cleveland, OH to Donald T. Weisend and Beverly J. Weisend (nee Travis) (deceased).  Don "Butch" retired from the Dominion East Ohio Gas Company after 30 years of service.   He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed woodworking, crafting, outdoor activities (fishing, hiking, golf), and traveling to casinos.  He earned a top seller rating from Ebay and was a fan of bidding and selling on auction sites.  Survivors include his father, Donald; 4 children,  Ann M. Janoco (Jeffrey), April  R. Bollinger (Eric), Zachary J. Weisend, Bradley J. Weisend (Kaitlyn); 7 grandchildren, Isabelle G. Weingart, Katarina M. Weingart, Adrianna L. Sapara, Benjamin D. Janoco, Nikolai R. Janoco, Haedyn I. Bollinger, Clayton K. Bollinger; 4 siblings,  Thomas Weisend (Cheryle), Laurie Thompson (Jim), Martha Mansfield, Terri Scott and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Deborah A. Weisend, age 63 passed away after a battle with COVID Pneumonia on January 9, 2022.

She was born on January 11, 1958 in Cleveland, OH.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Kovach and Katharina "Kay" Kovach nee Balog.  Deborah "Debbie" worked as a legal secretary up until her death.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed doting on her husband, friends and family.  She played on a bowling league with friends and loved having day excursions with friends. Many have reached out to the family to say that our mother was an angel on earth who gained her wings.  She would do anything for anyone and always had the right words to comfort.  Her most famous phrase was "Everything will be okay."  Though she will be deeply missed in our hearts, we know we will be okay and carry on her memory.  Survivors include her 4 children,  Ann M. Janoco (Jeffrey), April  R. Bollinger (Eric), Zachary J. Weisend, Bradley J. Weisend (Kaitlyn); 7 grandchildren, Isabelle G. Weingart, Katarina M. Weingart, Adrianna L. Sapara, Benjamin D.
