Tina Jeanette Ratliff

Tina Jeannette Ratliff, 47, of Oak Ridge, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015, after suffering an aneurysm. A very generous and altruistic spirit, Tina loved and was loved by her friends and family. She always loved children, and worked for Oak Ridge Schools in the Extended Child Care Program. Tina was a member of Central Baptist Church, as well as a nursery employee. She was also a long-time sales representative with Avon. Tina was a very giving individual and kids always held a special place in her heart. Tina is survived by her mother, Patricia Fitchpatrick of Oak Ridge; daughter, Kayla Carmack of Oak Ridge;son, Ryan Ratliff and wife Maria of Knoxville and 2 step-grandchildren Braden Sands and Kason Sands. Tina is also survived by her Dad, David Fitchpatrick of Oak Ridge; her sister, Karen Ratliff-Trotter and husband John Trotter of Maryville; her biological brothers, James Walker of Joliet, Illinois, and Anthony Walker of Wichita Falls, Texas, and many extended family members and friends. Tina recently was overjoyed to announce the birth of her first grandchild, Caroline Ratliff, and was very proud to be a doting grandmother. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Central Baptist Church from 5 – 7pm. Following the visitation, Tina's life will be celebrated at 7pm with Rev. Glenn Ellis officiating. Family and friends will meet on Tuesday at 2pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a graveside service. The family asks that any memorials be made in her name to the Jesus Centered Ministries for Nicaragua c/o Central Baptist Church, 130 Providence Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. We are soo sorry. She was awesome. She took care of all my beauty needs. Lol. Had my girls in ECC. They talked about her still today. I know she's in a special play keeping watch over all if us now. God bless all.

Just learned of Tinas' passing. Fond memories of her beach trip with us as a babysitter when my girls were toddlers. She was known as "Tina Two". Prayers for comfort to her family.

Tina's family: I worked next door to Tina's room at the Alternative school. Always so nice and pleasant. Didn't know she had passed away until Tuesday. You have my heartfelt sympathy.
