<p>HOLOWECKI, Michael James - age 82, of Holly, died January 12, 2022. A committal service will be held 2 PM Monday, January 24, 2022 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Michael was born August 27, 1939 in Detroit, the son of Michael James and Rose (Zuchowski) Holowecki. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and was a retired Railroad Conductor. Michael enjoyed classic cars and trips to the casino. Surviving are: wife, Sylvia L. Caul; children, Michael James Holowecki, Jr. (Dana Shaw) of Royal Oak, Mark (Debbie) Holowecki, Jason Holowecki of Livonia, and Mary Margaret (Phil) Moceri of Riley Township; grandchildren, Kristen, Jamie, Jordan, Addison, Lilah Ann-Rose, and Christina; many nieces and nephews.
