Ruby Goff Kalk, age 94, formerly of New Castle, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at The Lodge~Harbor Manor Assisted Living in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born January 31, 1927, in Morrow County, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Walter and Emma (Shier) Goff. Ruby was a 1945 graduate of Johnsville High School located in Ohio. She married her husband, Robert Kalk January 3, 1948, and worked as a medical technician for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Castle, Indiana and the Red Hat Society. She loved stained glass and enjoyed creating small artwork. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Mike (Penny) Kalk and Steve Kalk; seven grandchildren, Kristin Kalk, Amy Kalk, Stephen (Cortney) Kalk, Ryan (Hannah) Kalk, Anna, Kendall, and Jordan Kalk; five great-grandchildren, Holly, Graham, Avery, Grayson, and Jackson Kalk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kalk. The Kalk family request no visitation. Graveside services will take place at a later date.
