Terry L. Wamsley, 65, formerly of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away on January 1, 2022, at the Riverview Senior Healthcare Campus in Oak Harbor, Ohio, where she had resided for the past 12 years. She was born in Port Clinton on October 21, 1956, to Norman and Mildred (Donaldson) LaNier and graduated in 1975 from Port Clinton High School. She married Gary W. Wamsley on March 29, 1986, at St. John Lutheran Church, in Port Clinton. Gary passed away on April 2, 2021. Terry was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and took immense pride in her family. She will be remembered for her bright and beautiful flower gardens that were always meticulously manicured. Terry enjoyed swimming, league bowling, and playing Texas Hold-em., She and her family also spent many fun days camping at the former Smiley’s Campground in Bucyrus, Ohio. Terry is survived by her loving daughters, Jessica Wamsley, Melissa (Brian) Harder, and Monica (Adam) Ayers, grandchildren, Rob, Darren, Rylie, Ayden, Alana, Isaac, Zachary, and Aldyn, great grandchild, Harper Araguz, along with siblings, Jean (Terry) White, Susan Whiting, and Norman LaNier. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation for Terry will be held from 1:00-5:00 PM, Friday, January 7, 2022, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton. The family will have a time of sharing at 4:30 PM on Friday afternoon. Terry’s family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Riverview Nursing Home, 8180 W. St. Rt. 163, Oak Harbor, Ohio.
