Mr. Joseph Alan Brown, age 80, of S. Forest Ave, Hartwell, GA. passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at his home. He was born on March 7, 1941 in Hartwell, GA. to the late Charles Barret Brown and Emma Julia Cash Brown. Mr. Brown was retired from LHP corporation as a plant manager and received a Bachelors degree at Georgia Southern University. He was a former Deacon at Hartwell First Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Nancy Hart Masonic Lodge #690 and a Shriner. He is survived by his son; Mark Alan Brown and grandson; David Alan Brown. nephews; Jeff McCubbins and Chuck Brown. He is preceded in death by his siblings; Betty Rogers, Charles Brown Jr., and nephew; Brad McCubbins. Memorial Services for Mr. Alan Brown will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at two o'clock in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with visitation following the service.
