It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Marjorie Green of Grand Bank announces her passing. Marjorie passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on Saturday, January 1st, 2022, at the age of 91.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughters, Miriam Butt (Norman) of Canso, NS, Patsy Forsey (Ralph) of Winterland, Roxanne Fleming (Tim) of Springdale; sister Jane Rurak of Toronto; 6 grandchildren, Rodney, Natasha, Corey, Andrew, Tyler, Ryan; 3 great-grandchildren, Emily, Kyle, Hailey; good friends, Marie & Gerry Hannam; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.

Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Philip; son, Philip Wayne; daughter, Marie; parents, Samuel & Miriam Follett; brother, Unice; sister, Wilhemina; great-grandchild, Jagger.

The Green Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman's Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Monday, January 3rd, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, alert level 3, this will be a walk through visitation. When entering the funeral home you will be required to show proof of vaccination and photo ID. Everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required.

Funeral service will take place at Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank Grand Bank, NL A0E 1W0 on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, alert level 3, when entering the church you will be required to show proof of vaccination and photo ID. Everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank.

In Marjorie's memory donations may be made to Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Grand Bank or flowers gratefully accepted.
