Mr. Ronald E. Hancock, age 76 of Greenbriar Drive in Hartwell passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at AnMed Health. He was born on June 10, 1945 in Beckley, WV to the late Frank Hancock and Loretta Brezack Hancock. Ronald was self employed as a realtor. He enjoyed fishing, golf, yard work, landscaping and loved his grandchildren. Ronald was a pro-fisherman and had participated in the BassMaster Tournament Trail. He served in the United States Army and was of the Methodist Faith. Left to cherish his memories are, his wife, Heather Boardman Hancock, children, Ron Hancock, Jr., Vickie Lynn Hutchinson, Rae Anna Fields (Dean), Jim Hamilton (Becky), brothers, Bob Hancock (Debbie) and Greg Hancock. Grandchildren, Matt(Grace), Montana(Curtis), Sam(Abbie), Madison, Brennan, Bryley, and Noah, great-grandchildren, Ethan, Mason, Caleb, Owen and Elaina. He was preceded in death by, parents, brother, Jimmy Hancock, grandson, Brian Hancock, daughter-in-law, Jennifer Hancock. Memorial services celebrating Ronald's life will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Two o'clock at the Zion Methodist Church, 5708 S.C. 187, Anderson, SC 29625. Pastor Beverly Crowe Tipton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Zion Methodist Church, 5708 SC 187, Anderson, SC, 29625. Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
