Mrs. Maybell Campbell Vickery, age 88 of Airline Store Road in Bowersville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Hartwell Health and Rehab. She was born on March 31, 1933 in Franklin County to the late Sida D. Campbell and Rebecca Elizabeth Sudberry Campbell. Maybell was a homemaker and a faithful member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Rudolph Vickery, siblings, James Campbell, Billy Ray Campbell, Tommy Lee Campbell, Frank Campbell, Brenda Gail Carey and Shirley Freeman. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, William Campbell, Junior Campbell, and George Campbell, and sisters, Dot Corn and Betty Jo Lee. Funeral services honoring her life will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Three o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Sean Payne officiating. She will be laid to rest at Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Sunday from 1-3 p.m. just prior to the funeral service. The family will be at their respective homes. Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
