<p>Jackie Yvette Pearson was born on October 29, 1966 to the union of Robert and Bettye Pearson in Kansas City, Mo. She was the 8th of 9 children.</p> <p>Jackie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. Under the leadership of Pastor Melvin Broyle.</p> <p>She graduated from Vanhorn High School of Kansas City, Missouri in 1984.</p> <p>After graduation, Jackie went right into the workforce. She worked for Cook Family Food for over 6 years and Jackson County Family Court. However, in 1989, she answered her true calling which was driving buses. Whether it was a school bus or party bus, Jackie was excited to get behind the wheel. During her career, she was employed by various bus companies with her most recent being STA (Student Transportation of America) and GE Party Buses. Jackie was not just a bus driver, she also served as the President of Smart Union for her local chapter.</p> <p>When Jackie wasn&rsquo;t driving the bus, you could find her at the fishing lake, cooking for a family gathering, domination on the basketball court, knocking them out at the softball field, or cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. Of everything she enjoyed doing, spending time with her grandson was her favorite.</p> <p>As an adult, Jackie became a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Under the leadership of Pastor James A. Terrance, Jr.</p> <p>Both parents; one sister Johnnie Louise Primm; two nephews, Jeremy Pearson and Karl Adams; one great niece, Ameerah Rucker; five uncles, James Braford, Joe Willie Bradford, Johnnie Ray Bradford, Cedell Bradford and Robert Earl Bradford, all preceded her in death.</p> <p>She leaves to cherish her loving memories one son, Desmond (Kaleigh Steward) Pearson. One Grandson, Jayden Pearson. One Granddaughter, Eliana Fernand. Five Brothers; Richard Primm, Donald (Melvina &ldquo;Cricket&rdquo;) Primm Sr, Steve Pearson, Robert Pearson Jr, and Glenn Pearson. Two Sisters, Cynthia (Dennis Finnell) Pearson, and Carol Ann (Kevin) Ross. One Aunt, Martha Ann Kennedy. One Uncle, Acie Bradford Jr. Fifteen Nieces and Nephews; Tiesha Clark, Edward (Tragil) Johnson, Donald (Nicole)Primm Jr, Eboney (Anthony) Hogan, LaTora Davis, Donnell Byers, Terrell (Tanika) Byers, Kamilla Pearson, Leonard (Nikki) Sanders, LaRon Pearson, LaMont Pearson, Teaira Pearson, Glenn Rucker, Tevin Ross, and Tavis Ross. Twenty-four great nieces and nephews. One great great niece. A host of cousins, extended family, friends and coworkers</p> <p>Funeral service will be held Thursday, December&nbsp; 23, 2021, 11:00am Watkins Heritage Chapel. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation&nbsp; will&nbsp; be held Wed. December 22, 2021, 6pm-8pm at the chapel.&nbsp;Service conducted by Lawrence A. Jones &amp; Sons Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.</p>
