Kathleen "Kathy" Gayon

KATHLEEN "KATHY" GAYON, 79 of Menominee, MI passed away on Tuesday December 7, 2021 at the Renaissance in Marinette, WI surrounded by her family. Kathy was born on November 21, 1942 in Menominee, MI to Hiram and Marie (Rasmussen) Corey. On July 16, 1960, Kathy married Floyd Gayon in Stephenson, MI. Floyd preceded her in death on October 14, 2017. She worked as an assembler at Ansul until her retirement. Kathy enjoyed painting, trips to the casino, shopping , gardening and was a very meticulous housekeeper. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors include her 3 children: Lynn (David) Zorn of Marinette, WI Perry Gayon of Marinette, WI and Peter (Bridget) Gayon of Menominee, MI; 4 grandchildren: Tony (Amy) Zorn, Dave (Jade) Zorn, Frank (Kassie) Baublit and Hunter Gayon; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Betty Burie of Marinette, WI and Pat (Alan) Dahl of Stephenson, MI; nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister: Shirley Houle. Visitation for Kathy will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Tuesday December 14, 2021 from 11:30 am until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 pm with Reverend Mark Laatsch and Reverend Jim Mathews presiding. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in the spring. Anderson Kell Funeral Home is assisting the Gayon family with arrangements.
