LaRue May White Obituary

LaRue May White, age 78 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday evening, December 5, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was a resident of Indianapolis.

LaRue was born April 7, 1943, in Indianapolis to her parents, the late Bryan Jennings and Mary Adelle (Smith) White. She was a 1961 graduate of Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis. LaRue worked tirelessly with her hands in various factory positions throughout her life. She was frustrated when arthritis in her hands forced her to stop working.

She was a lifetime member of the Morgantown General Assembly & Church of the Firstborn. In her free time, she enjoyed playing games on the computer and watching tv game shows with Family Feud and Wheel of Fortune being her favorite. She also enjoyed reading romance novels and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be missed by her son: Anthony “Tony” Dale Jr. (Marie Golubski-Allen) of Greenwood, grandchildren: Ashley Allen and Jaimie Allen both of Arlington, Texas, Anthony Golubski-Allen of Greenwood, Tiffany Golubski-Allen and Krystal Golubski-Allen both of Florida; great grandchildren: Winter, Aierheanna, Aurora, Aliyah, Amalia, Elijah, Isabella, Xander and Catalina and siblings: Irena Lewis of Indianapolis and JoAnn Nation of Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

LaRue was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; JB White, Carl White, Louise Evans, Glenda Mahurin, Lenora White and Janelle Skinner. 

Bro. KJ Jacobs will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 10th at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. The funeral service will be livestreamed on Facebook Live for people who are unable to attend the funeral.
