Wendy Sue Kiger, 45 of Steubenville, OH died peacefully on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Trinity Medical Center West with her family by her side. Born on April 18, 1976, in Wheeling, WV a daughter of Gregory and Karen (Turner) Cheeks of Wellsburg, WV. Wendy graduated from Brooke High School in 1994. She held positions at Maloney’s Exxon, Mountaineer Racetrack, Brightwood Center, and lastly as a financial counselor at Weirton Medical Center. Wendy was Christian by faith and a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Gordon R. Kiger, II at home, her daughter, Abbey Kiger at home; one sister, Beth Ferrari, and husband, Tim of Wellsburg, WV; two nephews, Zachary and Alexander Ferrari; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation for Wendy will be held on Thursday, December 9th from 4-7 P.M. and again on Friday, December 10th from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV with Tim Ferrari, minister officiating.
