<p>Craig F. Brigel (62) of Romeoville, IL passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL following a motorcycle accident.&nbsp;&nbsp; He was born November 6, 1959 in Hinsdale, IL, the son of George F. and Ruth (Ahrendt) Brigel, Jr.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Craig had three great loves in his life. His biggest love was for his family. It was not hard for Craig to say, &ldquo;I love you.&rdquo; He thought his family was the best and cherished every second with them. His second love was playing pool. Like his father, Craig played pool competitively and he won many awards doing so. Craig&rsquo;s third love was riding his motorcycle. For him riding his bike was a 24/7 12 months affair.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He is survived by two children, Kellie Brigel and Dakota Callaway; his mother, Ruth Brigel; his life partner, JoAnn Caspers; two step children, Jessica Caspers and Alexis Caspers and one grandson, Cameron Swink; 4 siblings, Paula (Robert) Nesbitt, Ronald (Tammy) Brigel, Gary Brigel and Lynne (Richard) Paver, nieces and nephews and his dogs, Charlie Brown and Benji.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his father, George and brother, Robert, who passed in infancy.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.&nbsp; Arrangements were entrusted to&nbsp; Dieterle Memorial Home in Montgomery, IL.&nbsp; 630-761-5867.&nbsp;&nbsp; www.dieterlememorialhome.com&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
