<p>Kaufman, Harriet</p> <p>July 25, 1925-December 3, 2021</p> <p> </p> <p>Harriet Kaufman 96, of Sarasota, formerly of Islip, NY, died December 3, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Dr. Sumner Kaufman. Harriet is survived by her children: Dr. Gary Kaufman, Adine Kaufman, Dr. Peter Kaufman, Paul Kaufman Esq., 6 grandchildren and 7 (soon to be 8) greatgrandchildren. Keeping her family together was her focus. She would reach out and connect with family and friends near and far. Harriet and Sumner were founding members of Temple Sinai and she was involved with National Council of Jewish Women.</p> <p>Contributions in memory may be sent to: Temple Sinai and Tidewell Hospice.
