<p>Obituary</p> <p>Alton Hogan Sr. was born on November 12th, 1938 to the union of the late Herman and Ruth Hogan. &nbsp;He resided in Baker, Louisiana until his death on December 2nd, 2021, at the age of 83.&nbsp;</p> <p>Alton was baptized as one of Jehovah&#39;s Witnesses in 1958. &nbsp;At his death he was attending Blackwater Congregation of Jehovah&#39;s Witnesses. He was deeply loved by his wife of 32 years Martha, as well as his family. &nbsp;He was also loved by his children and by everyone who knew him, including his Walmart Family where he was affectionately known as &quot;POPS&quot; he will be greatly missed. &nbsp;</p> <p>Alton is survived by his loving wife Martha&nbsp;Hogan, &nbsp;fourdaughters; Cindy (Andrea) Johnson, Stacy (Tim) George, Rhonda Payne, Cassandra (Tilton) Williams, one stepdaughter; Mary (Greg) Lewis, four sons; Alton Jr. (Brooke) Hogan, Joel (Skeka) Hogan, Reuben (Demetria) Hogan, and Quinton Hogan. &nbsp;Three sisters; Shirley (Leroy)&nbsp;Ranel, Beverly (James) Coleman, and Debra Hogan, one brother; Mack (Linda) Hogan,&nbsp;one&nbsp;&nbsp;aunt; Ruth Hogan, along with a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.</p> <p>Alton was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Ruth Hogan, grandparents Herod and&nbsp;Almotine&nbsp;Hogan, one brother Felton Hogan, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.</p>

Alton Hogan Sr. was born on November 12th, 1938 to the union of the late Herman and Ruth Hogan.  He resided in Baker, Louisiana until his death on December 2nd, 2021, at the age of 83. 

Alton was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1958.  At his death he was attending Blackwater Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was deeply loved by his wife of 32 years Martha, as well as his family.  He was also loved by his children and by everyone who knew him, including his Walmart Family where he was affectionately known as "POPS" he will be greatly missed.
