Samantha Annie“Sam” Pearson, the daughter of Karen (Charlie) Taylor and the late Michael Pearson was born in Florence County, December 31, 1988. Samantha peacefully entered eternal rest at the Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg, SC on Friday, December 3, 2021. Sam attended Florence District 1 schools. Samantha was employed at Food Lion and Moe’s Southwest Grill. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She loved her Papa, Kenneth Williams; who she cared for until his passing. Sam had a heart of gold and a mind full of wisdom. She enjoyed softball, cooking holiday meals with her mom and sisters, and she also loved her dog, Jax. Samantha was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Earnestine Edward Williams, Rosalee Jackson; her grandfather Kenneth “Skinny” Williams; and her father Michael Pearson. Samantha was blessed in many other areas of her life, including her sisters Yvonne Graham, Patrice Williams, Quateria Jackson, Tiffany McClam; brothers Charlie Taylor Jr, Kenneth McClam and Jeremiah Taylor, Nieces and nephew Saivionn Gamble, Alajah Bethea, and Kamari Oneal of the home; JaiQuayla Jackson, Tah’ki Jackson, Qualayla Moses, a special cousin Seqouya Pearson; and a special friend, Daniel Holiday. This large circle of family love included an entire host of aunts, uncles, and other extended family and friends.
