<p><span style="font-size:18px;">Melvin Joel Campbell, 75, of Berlin, husband of Ida Campbell, passed away on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 at Hartford Hospital.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">Born in Maine, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Labbe) Campbell.&nbsp; Melvin was a Berlin resident most of his life.&nbsp; He was formerly employed at Pratt &amp; Whitney and later employed at Luther Ridge Assisted Living for eleven years before retiring.&nbsp; He was a member of St. Paul Church.&nbsp; Melvin enjoyed cooking, working in his yard, and spending time with his grandchildren.&nbsp; He loved his dogs, and his time working with the residents at Luther Ridge.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">Surviving are his wife, Ida (Gorneault) Campbell; three children, Trystan (Amy) Campbell of Rocky Hill, Kimberly (Sebastiano) Rigano of Middletown, and Gregory Campbell of New Britain; a sister, Virginia (Rocky) Pelletier of Prospect; five grandchildren, Devin Rigano, Dante Rigano, Domenic Rigano, Austin Rigano, and Dakota Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;">A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Paul Church in Kensington.&nbsp; Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.&nbsp; Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin is in charge of arrangements.</span></p>

Melvin Joel Campbell, 75, of Berlin, husband of Ida Campbell, passed away on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 at Hartford Hospital.
