<p>“Terry” Johnathan Farley</p><p><br></p><p> Terrance “Terry” Johnathan Farley, 76, of Madison, WI, died Friday, December 3, 2021. Terry was born November 21, 1945, in Dubuque, IA and was one of 4 children of Robert and Ida Farley. He attended Sacred Heart School, Wahlert High School, and Loras College.</p><p> Terry expressed his artistic side by writing songs, poems, scripts, letters to editors, and other works. He played various instruments (all self-taught): sitar, dulcimer, harmonica, drums, and percussion. He liked creating natural gardens for family and fellow apartment residents. Terry found these words by Alan Watts to be of a source of peace and understanding, “Over every mountain there is a path, though it may not be seen from the valley,” especially as his COPD got worse. But Terry was ready for a new adventure.</p><p> Terry is survived by a brother, Donald (Donna) of North Liberty, IA, a sister-in-law, Donna, of Dubuque, IA, a sister Liz (Bob) Harlow of Oregon, WI, 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 grandnephews, and 1 grandniece. He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Robert Lee “Tad” Farley.</p><p> A private family gathering will be held in Dubuque, IA, on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Terrance “Terry” Johnathan Farley, 76, of Madison, WI, died Friday, December 3, 2021. Terry was born November 21, 1945, in Dubuque, IA and was one of 4 children of Robert and Ida Farley. He attended Sacred Heart School, Wahlert High School, and Loras College.
