Edward Charles Schoennagel

Edward Charles Schoennagel, 86, of Taneytown, and formerly of Reisterstown, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 2 Hearts at Liberty Assisted Living Facility. Born October 6, 1935, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frederick and Dorothy Stella Schoennagel. Edward graduated from City College, Class of 1953. He spent his working career as a steamfitter, retiring from Johnson Controls. Edward was a member of the Steamfitter Union and a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon. Surviving Edward is his brother Frederick Schoennagel of Parkville; 11 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Robert, Paul, and Helen. Per his request, no services will be held.
