<p>Harry Lee Keaton, 72, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.</p> <p>Born June 18, 1949 in Hinton he was the son of the late Harry L. and Betty Jean Maddy Keaton.&nbsp; A 1967 graduate of Hinton High School he then received his undergraduate degree in Education from Marshall University and his Masters degree in Education Administration from Radford University.&nbsp; Harry served our community as an Educator, Principal and Athletic Director until his retirement in 2004.&nbsp; After his retirement he served as Director at the Lillian James Learning Center in Crab Orchard. He was a staunch supporter of Marshall Thundering Herd Athletics but the true love of his life was his family.&nbsp; Harry was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Hinton.&nbsp; He was one of the original members of the Greenbrier Valley Officials Association where he officiated Basketball for many years.</p> <p>Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Regina Keaton of Hinton, two children, Kristen Keaton Hodge and husband Roger of Savannah, GA and Justin Keaton and wife Paige of Foster; two grandchildren, Madison Hodge of Savannah, GA and Emmaline Hodge of Savannah, GA.&nbsp;</p> <p>A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00pm Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Central Baptist Church of Hinton with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.&nbsp; Friends may visit from 2:00pm until service time on Sunday at the Church.</p> <p>Donations of Sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia.</p>

Harry Lee Keaton, 72, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.
