Our beloved Dan died on Wednesday, November 18, 2021, the victim of a homicide. Age 35. Beloved son of Katie (Allen) Pierce and Joao Pizzutti. Fun loving brother of Bob Pierce (fiancé Cassie). Loving grandson of Tom and Joan King. Also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Growing up in Wisconsin, Dan was full of life. His life long passion for music and as a voracious reader offered him many adventures with family and friends. He was a barista in his mother's coffee shop before moving out to Boston for seven years and then to Eugene the last six years. After having worked years in hospitality, looking to improve his life, Dan was a student at Lane Community College. He will be remembered for his love of concerts and adventures with friends road-tripping to Phish concerts. He had a big heart and was kind to all. Dan will remain in our hearts and truly will be missed for the joy he brought to the world.
