Allen Robert "Duck" Thompson

<p>Allen Robert &ldquo;Duck&rdquo; Thompson, 79, passed away on November 30, 2021 in St. George, UT. Robert was born on November 24, 1942 in Caliente, NV to David Carl Thompson and Viola Schroeder. Robert was raised in Caliente and attended Lincoln Co. High School. After graduating, Robert moved to Kansas to attend Airline School, where he was certified as a Ground Agent. He returned to Nevada, and married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Ann Gray on June 8, 1963 in Caliente, NV. They moved to Las Vegas, NV where Robert started to work at Bonanza Airlines. They later moved to Cedar City, and later to Salt Lake City to work with Northwest Airlines. He worked forty years in the industry before retiring. He loved taking his family to the outdoors, often fishing, hunting, camping, boating, riding ATV&rsquo;s and traveling in their RV. He was a damn good dancer, and loved dancing with Nan. He was a quiet giant, and was very observant. He was a great father and grandfather.&nbsp;</p> <p>Robert was survived by his wife, Nancy Thompson; his children, Robin (Curt Albert) Cook and Randy (Michelle) Thompson; his four grandchildren, Sydnee, Chase, Austin, and Spencer; his five great-grandchildren; his sister, Carla Jo Wilkin; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.</p> <p>The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
