Hilda Emma Shook, 86, of Maugansville, Md., passed away, Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, Md. Born June 1, 1935 in Taneytown, Md. she was the daughter of the late,Roland Roy and Lillian (Smith) Reaver. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Shook and two brothers, Roland and Roy Reaver. Mrs. Shook retired as a seamstress for New Horizon Sportswear, Hagerstown. She was a member of Salem Reformed Church, Hagerstown. Mrs. Shook volunteered and helped her children with fundraising for various charities. She is survived by three children, Gerald E. Shook, Sr., Karen M. Johnson and Lori J. Keim; two grandchildren, Corey Binkley and Jerry Shook, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Bill Schuit officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
