Bird, Gary E., 74, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Plattsburg, NY, he was a son of the late Ernest and Loretta (Malark) Bird; brother of the late Nancy Cotton, Linda Bird, Brenda Bird and Patsy Pagels. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Jane M. (Starnino) Bird, two children Shane Bird and Jennifer (Bird) McKenna, eight grandchildren, Shane Bird, Jr., Dale Bird, Nicholas Bird, Abby Bird, Max Bird, Joseph McKenna, Jr., Matthew McKenna and Nicole McKenna. He is also survived by many brothers and sister in laws, nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors at 11 am.
