Virginia “Cindy” Mae Dorsey, 81, of Martinsburg went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Born October 20, 1940 in Martinsburg to the late James Franklin Medler and Catherine Marie (Taylor) Medler. She loved gardening in her flower bed and watching her soap operas. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Perry Lloyd Dorsey, Jr.; two sons, Perry L. Dorsey III and James C. Dorsey; two daughters, Sandra L. Dorsey and Sharon M. Dorsey; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Linda Custer, Bonnie Welty, Kathy McCormick, and Tina Edwards. She was preceded in death by daughter, Cynthia Louise Wise; three brothers, Tobey, Johnny, and Mike; and sisters, Gloria, Brenda, Patsy and Judy. Services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Guerilo officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be private. Arrangements made by Brown Funeral Home.
