On December 2, 2021 Ruth E. McCullough peacefully passed away at her son’s home in DeSoto, TX where she was recovering from a recent fall in her home in Duncanville, TX. Ruth was born to Forest and Lois Main on January 24, 1922 in Shelbyville, IN joining her sister Marie and brothers Melvin and Carl. She married Kenneth Hayworth with whom she had two sons, Stephen and David, before Kenneth passed away in 1950. She then met Alden McCullough at church in Columbus, IN and they married in 1952. They moved to NJ in 1956 and later to Basking Ridge, NJ, Ft Myers, FL, Naples, FL, and after Alden’s passing in 2008, she settled in Duncanville, TX. She and Alden enjoyed traveling all over the US, cruising and traveling to Europe several times. She is survived by her sons Stephen (Karen) of Basking Ridge, NJ and David of DeSoto, TX, four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
