Gerald Norman Gilks, 93, of Cleburne passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, in Cleburne. He was born March 28, 1928, in Beverly, Massachusetts. He married Emily Susan “Susie” Fulfer-Gilks on March 23, 2013, in Cleburne. Gerald was an Electrical Engineer for Wang Corporation in Boston. He was a wonderful and kind-hearted man. Gerald was talented and could do anything. He enjoyed model railroading, golfing, and playing the piano. His loving nature and giving spirit will be missed greatly. Gerald is survived by his wife, Susan Fulfer-Gilks; children, Warren Gilks and wife, Jackie, Barry Gilks and wife, Allison and stepdaughter, Laura Thomas; two grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Richard Gilks.
