Born in Blacksburg, he was the son of the late Mac Hopper and Annie Sue Anderson Hopper. Surviving: his wife of fifty-three years, Alvina Adams Hoppers; two daughters, Jacklyn Hopper of Simpsonville, SC, and Latasha (Thomas) Dixon; one son, Octavious (Rhonda) Demory of Simpsonville, SC; three sisters, Montrose Lilly of Albemarle, NC, Agnes Hopper of New Jersey, and Louise (Eugene) Lockhart of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Ray (Minnie) Hopper of Kannapolis, NC; ten grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: Saturday, December 11, 2021, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.Obituary
