Ronald Sonny Mack Sr. transitioned from this life on Friday, November 26, 2021.
Ron was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. He was the son of the late

Washington, DC for many years and he also worked as a Server for
Nedicks Hot Dogs in the subway at 34th Street in NYC. Ron was a people person.
He loved his children and his family. As a Bronx native he had many friends and
associates.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his 5 children, Ronda Mack (Terrence), Hudson,
NY, Ela Powell (Andrew) Fayetteville, NC, Charmaine Aikman (Eric) Schenectady, NY,
Ronald Mack, Jr. and Rolando Mack, Puerto Rico, his ex-wife Valerie Ruffin, Newburgh,

, Amirah Aikman, Adonis Aikman.
He was predeceased by his father; Robert Mack. His mother, Estelle Mack Sr. and his
sister Barbara Mack, who passed on a year prior to him. He leaves behind his nine nieces
and nephews, along with a host of cousins and friends. A private service has been arranged
and burial in Albany, NY: where a family lot has started in his honor.
Though he is no longer here, please take comfort in knowing Ron was met with love and
peace as he transitioned from this life. He is among his family who have passed before
him, they are now together loving him and preparing his spirit for Jesus Christ. Where
there was pain and sorrow, there is now comfort and peace.

To My Hero
I want to thank you for all the love you’ve giving me. Thank you for giving me the lessons
and tools I needed on life to become who I am today. I will continue to instill what you’ve taught
me to your grandkids. Thank you for showing me what love truly means. Our family will miss
you dearly. You will forever & always be in my heart. I Love You.. Rest In Paradise Dad Until
                                                                                We Meet Again.

Ronda(Pooh Bear) Mack, Your Oldest Child

Thank you daddy for teaching me to believe in myself, even when no one else was there for
me to lean on. The best advice you gave me, was at 17 years old. You had told me “ Only
you can fix a mistake, if you think you made a mistake correct it”. I have spent years
correcting mistakes, but one thing I have learned through your death is God does not make
mistakes. Because of you, Daddy. I now know Jesus is real and that there really is a place
to prepare for Christ and HIS coming. Your death has made me a believer in the things we
were taught. Even in the midst of my sorrow, you are dancing and now guiding me to a
new direction in life. Because of you daddy I know the Lord is real. Thank you daddy and I
will forever love you.
Charmaine Mack
