Timothy Wayne Gibson, 67, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at his residence. 

 Tim was born on March 13, 1954, to Russel and Othilda (Johnston) Gibson.  His parents preceded him in death.  Tim married Lucy L. Kiefer on August 16, 1975. She survives and resides in Huntington, IN.

 Tim graduated in 1972 from Huntington North High School.   He was a machinist for Orton Crain and Guhls Machine, as well as, Bomar Electronics, Fort Wayne, IN.   He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and racing. He attended Bethel United Methodist Church.          

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Nickolas Gibson (fiance’, Shaina Covey), Ossian, IN; and one sister, Mary Ann (Winfred) Williams, Huntington, IN.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Michael Gibson; and two sisters, Janine Zahm, and Debra Hunnicutt.

  Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 p.m., at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street Huntington, IN with Rick Borgman officiating.

 Burial will be at Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
