William A. “Bill” Mitchell Jr, 92 of Wellsburg, WV passed away December 1, 2021, at Trinity West, Steubenville, OH. He was born November 24, 1929, in Washington Township, PA to the late William A. and Mary Logdson Michell Sr. He is survived by his four children Becky Hughes and Ernie of Yorkville, OH, Bob Mitchell Sr. and Kim of Wellsburg, WV, Bonnie Armstrong, and Tom of Lisbon, OH, and Judy Gooch of Wellsburg, WV, five grandchildren Ryan, Matt, and Kristopher Caldwell, Bobby Mitchell Jr., and Dennis Gooch and nine great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Candace Bailey, Donald, Jaylynn, and Kristopher Caldwell and Karly and Taylor Mitchell, Mathew Caldwell and Elijah Gooch also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife Mary Elizabeth Butler Mitchell, a son Andrew Mitchell, and a daughter Caroline “Dolly” Craft. Visitation will be held Monday, December 6, 2021, from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV 26070.
