She was born on August 24, 1923 in Woburn,MA. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. McNeil, loving mother of Anne Quinn and her husband Joseph of North Andover,MA and Jeanne McNeil of Andover,MA. Loving grandmother of Kristin Coe of Hobe Sound, FL and Megan Glennon and her husband Damien of North Andover,MA. Loving great-grandmother of Emma and Elizabeth Glennon. Daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Scalley) Murphy and sister of the late Thomas Murphy of Cambridge. Mary was a resident of Cambridge,MA for over seventy years before moving to Andover,MA. She was a graduate of Burdett Business School. She retired from Lamb & Ritchie Company, Saugus, MA after forty years as the bookkeeper. She enjoyed many summers at Newfound Lake, NH. Mary was an active congregant at Blessed Sacrament Church in Cambridge, MA. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her most important hobbies as well as baking, reading and knitting. She would like to be remembered for her devotion and love for her family and firends.
