Johnny Lee Bobo was born November 10th, 1947 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Fern Louise (Griggs) and Bill Bobo. He was reunited in glory with the love of his life on November 30th, 2021 at the age of 74 years and 20 days. Johnny grew up in the Lawton, Oklahoma area and attended school at Elgin graduating in 1966. He married his high school sweetheart, Jeanna Beth (Rue) in Wichita Falls, Texas on August 25th,1967. After their marriage they lived in Lawton until moving to the Oklahoma City area to make their home. Johnny was one that loved to be in the outdoors fishing and also loved the freedom of the road riding his motorcycle. He was an amazing cook and anyone who knew him and had the opportunity to enjoy his food had to abide by his "rules of the kitchen". They also needed to be ready to take orders that were barked at them and was often teased by his family as the "Kitchen Supervisor". Outside of the kitchen he was a loving husband and father who adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Jeanna. Johnny is survived by his 3 children, Michelle Cox and husband, Chris, Erick, OK, Greg Bobo and wife, Cheryl, Erick, OK and Brian Bobo and wife, Jennifer, Yukon, OK; 10 grandchildren, Justin Cox and wife, Sarah, Caty Perry and husband, Tyson, Cody Cox and wife, McKenna, Garrett Cox and girlfriend, Shailee Ross, Kyle Hatchel and fiance`, Karrissa Harris, Shaylin Bobo and boyfriend, Timothy Taylor, Morgan Honaker and husband, Brady, Kierstyn Rowe and husband, Terry, Delaney Davis and Ethan Lee Cole Bobo; 11 great grandchildren; 2 cats, Schmokie and Red Marshmallow and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Texola Baptist Church officiated by Brother Charlie Floyd.
