Kayden James Hammans Obituary

Kayden James Hammans, 24, of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, entered through Heaven’s gates on November 24th, 2021.

Kayden was born on November 24th, 1997, to James and Julie Hammans in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. After Kayden graduated from Warner High School in 2016, he continued his education at Connors State College.

In the 7th grade, Kayden first laid eyes on Timber McKinney, when she started attending Warner Junior High. It was love at first sight. All throughout high school, Kayden told multiple people that he was going to marry Timber someday. Timber gave him a run for his money, until he finally charmed her with his outgoing, funny personality. They were high school sweet hearts. On October 8th, 2016, Timber and Kayden became one when they exchanged vows four short months after graduating high school. Kayden and Timber went on to have two children, Moxin James and Marlee Rae Hammans. Kayden loved his children and his wife dearly.

In 2017 Kayden began a summer internship with the Corp. of Engineers which was his dream job. In 2021, the opportunity of a lifetime came available when Kayden began working for the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers maintenance at the Tenkiller Lake Office.

Kayden impacted anyone who crossed his path. He had a laugh that was one in a million, and he loved to make others smile. He was always the life of the party around his family and friends. Kayden was passionate about the outdoors and loved what he did for a living. If he wasn’t spending time with his family, you could find him in a deer stand or fishing.

Kayden was preceded in death by his grandpa John Hammans Senior of Warner, Oklahoma, his PaPa, J.D. Rogers of Warner, Oklahoma, and cousin Colton James Muskrat of Warner, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife Timber Hammans (McKinney) of the home; two children, Moxin James and Marlee Rae Hammans of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma; Father and Mother, James Curtice Hammans and Julie Ann Hammans (Muskrat) of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma; Brother and Sisters, Adyn Gonzales, Britney Hammans, and Makiya Shell of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma; Grandma, Diann Ruth Rogers of Warner, Oklahoma; Grandpa and Grandma, Teddy James Muskrat and Anna Lou Muskrat (Shell) of Warner, Oklahoma; uncle: Reilly Muskrat of West Haven, UT, John Jr Hammans of Warner, Oklahoma, Billy Joe Hammans of Warner, Oklahoma; Father and Mother-in-law, Kevan McKinney and Sharon McKinney (Cole) of Gore, Oklahoma.
