Irma Garcia, 52 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, December 6, 2021, at First Baptist Church with Dewayne Gion and Diego Mendoza officiating. Interment will follow in the Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Irma was born April 19, 1969, in Ejido Revolucion Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico to Hipolito and Amalia Garcia. At the age of 6, Irma’s family moved to Dumas where she received her education and graduated from Dumas High School. Irma was employed as a cosmetologist at Kaos Hair Salon in Dumas for 31 years. Family was very important to Irma, she enjoyed watching and supporting her children in all of the athletics and activities. Her grandchildren also held a special place in her heart and she loved them dearly. Irma is survived by her parents, Hipolito and Amalia Garcia of Dumas, TX; children: Crystal Holguin and husband Erik, Derek Mendez and wife Madison, Stetson Rios and Emilie Rios, all of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Hayden Mendez, Olivia Mendez and Izaiah Holguin all of Dumas, TX; siblings: Armando Garcia and wife Jessica of Dumas, TX, Saul Garcia and wife Saray of Florida, Araceli Guillen and husband Jerry of Dumas, TX, Sandra Valdez of Amarillo, TX, Jr. Garcia and wife Gricelda of Amarillo, TX, Norma Garcia of Dumas, TX and Veronica Landeros and husband Icidro of Dumas, TX.
