<p>Mulder, John Jr., age 83, of Shoreview, MN, passed away at home on November 29, 2021. Born in Adrian, Minnesota, on May 3, 1938, he was the fifteenth of sixteen children born to John &ldquo;A&rdquo; and Fannie Mulder.</p> <p>He was married to his high school sweetheart and wife, Jean (Engelhardt) Mulder, for almost 64 years.</p> <p>John worked many years in sales and service for farm, dairy, and industrial equipment. He loved playing center for basketball, catcher for softball, and golf. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his wife and family. He taught many of his 62 nieces and nephews how to water ski. John loved Jesus and singing (and singing about Jesus) and served the church for many years as a volunteer song leader and choir member. He lived his life by the motto, &ldquo;You can never go wrong being nice to people.&rdquo;</p> <p>John is survived by his wife, Jean; son, Brian Mulder (Karen); daughter, Lori Monson (Randal); grandsons, Adam Mulder (Katy), Aaron Mulder (Roberto), Andrew Mulder (Emily), Steven Monson (Kelly), Cory Monson (Marley), and Erik Monson; great-grandchildren Eisley and Lincoln Mulder and Hannah and Chase Monson; brothers, Kenneth, Gerald, and Bernie; and sisters, Joyce Rust and LaDonne Christians.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Fannie Mulder; brothers, Merwin, Ralph, Harold, Emery, and Richard; and sisters, Fern, Florence, Marion, Alva, and Beverly.</p> <p>John&rsquo;s Celebration of Life will be Saturday, December 11 at Edinbrook Church, 4300 Edinbrook Parkway N, Brooklyn Park, MN, 55443. Visitation begins at 10:00am, service at 11:00am. He was married to his high school sweetheart and wife, Jean (Engelhardt) Mulder, for almost 64 years.
