<p>With heavy hearts the family of Shirley Mary Ann Speight, loving wife of the late David Speight, announce her passing on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Chatham, NB on July 25, 1943 she was the daughter of the late John and Lorraine (Robichaud) Malley.</p> <p>Shirley worked for New System Laundry as a presser for many years. She enjoyed playing computer games, travelling, coloring and her feline companions Snuggy and Muffy.</p> <p>She is survived by her brother Francis &ldquo;Frank&rdquo; Malley of Saint John; sisters Mary (Onesiphore) Robichaud also of Saint John and Mona (Jim) Malley-Geddes of Bible Hill, NS; as well as several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>In addition to her husband, she predeceased by her brother Raymond and sister Leona Malley.</p> <p>Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.&nbsp;</p>

With heavy hearts the family of Shirley Mary Ann Speight, loving wife of the late David Speight, announce her passing on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Chatham, NB on July 25, 1943 she was the daughter of the late John and Lorraine (Robichaud) Malley.

Shirley worked for New System Laundry as a presser for many years. She enjoyed playing computer games, travelling, coloring and her feline companions Snuggy and Muffy.

She is survived by her brother Francis “Frank” Malley of Saint John; sisters Mary (Onesiphore) Robichaud also of Saint John and Mona (Jim) Malley-Geddes of Bible Hill, NS; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she predeceased by her brother Raymond and sister Leona Malley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
