Linda Carol Buchanan

Linda Carol Buchanan (Larson), 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 29, 2021 in Mundelein, Illinois. Linda was born March 31, 1942 in Morton Grove, Illinois to Elliott and Gladys Larson. Linda enjoyed music and could often be seen tapping her foot along to the beat of her favorites like ABBA and Blondie. She was a great cook and would gladly prepare one of her many Swedish recipes. Linda was a keen card and bingo player and won often, but she mainly played to socialize with her friends. She attended North Park College where she met and married Patrick Sheehan. They were blessed with 3 beautiful children; Tom, Mark and Lisa. Linda is survived by her son Mark (Kelly) Sheehan; six grandchildren, Luke, Jennifer and Kara Sheehan; Henry, Sophia and Cooper Eglian; sister Louise Ost (Larry); and daughter-in-law Cindy Sheehan. She was preceded in death by her children, Tom Sheehan and Lisa Eglian. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 3pm to 5pm, at the Cremation Society of Illinois- Edison Park, 6467 N. Northwest Hwy, Chicago, IL 60631.
