Dr. Charles R.B. Beckmann, 74 of Glen Mills, PA died Monday November 29, 2021.

He was the husband of Claudia Anderson Beckmann.

Born May 16, 1947 in Springfield, MO, he was the son of the late Charles William Beckmann and the late Lois Valarie Oliver Beckmann.

Charles was a graduate of Washington University and the University of Missouri School of Medicine. Upon graduating from medical school, Charles completed his residency in OBGYN at the Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. 

Charles received his master’s in Health Professions Education from the University of Illinois, Chicago and a certificate of Business Administration from the Johns Hopkins University. He was also an author of several textbooks related to Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Some of things Charles enjoyed were, reading, writing, playing the saxophone, and hunting.  

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, David Beckmann, Katy Somer and her husband Michael, Sarah Beckmann and his three grandchildren, Leilani Beckmann, Aurora Beckmann, and Harper Grace Somer.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Westminster Presbyterian Church 10 W. Pleasant Grove Road West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382.
