Anita Platt, age 92, long-time resident of Northbrook since 1966; respected and beloved teacher at Cadwell and Kipling Schools, in Deerfield, teaching 2nd thru 4th grade during years of 1970-1991; loving wife for 70 years of the late Seymour Platt; cherished mother of Bradley and Mitchel Platt; devoted daughter of the late Harry and the late Kate; adored sister of the late Gloria Scott and the late Muriel Shapiro; fond sister-in-law of Harriet Jacobs; treasured aunt of 8 nieces and nephews and dear friend to many. Graveside service Thursday, 1:30 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery, Section B, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge. The service will be Zoomed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
