Obituary

Kelly Ann Copeland (Campbell) formerly of Wareham passed away on Friday November 26th at her home in Boston.  Ms. Copeland was 54 years old.

Born in Burbank, California on December 26, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Bruce H. Campbell and Kathleen M. Campbell (Sullivan).  She attended Upper Cape Regional Technical High School in Bourne and later went on to graduate from the Boston Bartending School.  Kelly had a gift for making people feel special, which came in handy in her profession as a bartender and waitress.  Ms. Copeland worked at British Beer Company in Sandwich and at Iguana’s in Falmouth for several years.  She was a talented bartender, known for her signature Mudslides and her attention to her customers.

Some of Kelly’s passions were reminiscing and story- telling.  She had a terrific memory and could tell her side of the story, as it happened, just right.  Her love for live music was never more evident than when she would sing (she was not a good singer at all) but, she performed anyways, messing up the lyrics of songs while she danced.  Ms. Copeland truly earned the nickname “Little Miss Hollywood”, which was given to her by her parents for her zest to sing and put on a show.

Kelly’ favorite season was Christmas; she loved this time of year.  It gave her a great excuse to bake.  However, with all of her interests and passions, nothing could ever compare to the love that she has for her grandchildren.  They were everything to her.

Ms. Copeland leaves behind her daughter Michelle Ferguson and her husband Rone of Wareham and her 3 grandchildren; Joshua, Kobe and Rone II.   She is also survived by her brothers; Bruce Campbell of New Bedford, Kevin Campbell and his wife Kendra of Bridgton, ME and James Campbell and his wife Marcia of Wareham.  Along with her parents, Kelly is reunited with her sister; the late Kathleen Campbell.

Visiting Hours will be held on Friday December 3rd from 4-7pm in the WAREHAM VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME 5 Center Street Wareham, MA 02571.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers; donations in memory of Kelly Ann Copeland may be made the Ellie Fund for Breast Cancer 200 Reservoir St. Needham, MA 02494 in honor of her mother Kathleen or to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention 120 Wall St. 29th Floor New York, NY 10005.
