<p>Sally Ann Young, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 29, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was under the care of her loving family and Encompass Home Health &amp; Hospice.</p> <p>Sally was born April 4, 1946, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Grant Young and Hazel Nelson Young. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls.</p> <p>Sally made her home in Idaho Falls where she served families with a smile and a kind word as a hostess at Smitty&rsquo;s for over 30 years.</p> <p>She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She celebrated over 25 years of sobriety and enjoyed helping others through the AA recovery program. She especially loved her family and spending time with them.</p> <p>Sally is survived by her daughter, Angie Norton of Idaho Falls; son, James L. Norton, Jr. of Boise, ID; son, Fredrick Norton of Idaho Falls; brother, Richard (Nila) Young of Kuna, ID; sister, Betty (Charles) DeLissio of Idaho Falls; sister, Vickie (Elias) Ortega of Rexburg, ID; brother, Kent (Annette) Knight of UT; 3 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Hazel Young; siblings; Mary Wilson, Karen Knight, David Young, Joe Young, Brent Knight, Delight Packer, Reed Young, Ralph Young, and Faye Young.</p> <p>A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.</p>

Sally Ann Young, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 29, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was under the care of her loving family and Encompass Home Health & Hospice.

Sally was born April 4, 1946, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Grant Young and Hazel Nelson Young. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls.
