<p>John Sherman Farley, age 60 of Pekin, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 in Baptist Health Floyd New Albany.</p> <p>Born February 5, 1961 in Man, West Virginia, he is the son of&nbsp;Luchin and Phyllis (Pennington) Farley.</p> <p>He was an employee of Ford Motor Company in Louisville for 30 years and a member of UAW 862.&nbsp; He attended Graceland Baptist Church, had been a resident of Washington County for the past 30 years and was a 1979 graduate of Henryville High School.</p> <p>On July 18, 1981 he married Glinda G. (Snook) Farley, his wife of 40 years.</p> <p>Also surviving are:&nbsp; Son: Adam (Nikki) Farley of Pekin; Daughter: Shawnda (Brent) Richardson of Nicholasville, Kentucky; Parents: Luchin and Phyllis Farley of Berea, Kentucky;&nbsp;2 Brothers: Michael Farley of Wilmore, Kentucky and Glen Farley of Berea, Kentucky; Sister: Peggy Bender of Indianapolis and&nbsp;<br /> Grandchildren: John Parker and Scarlett Richardson and Hayden and Abigail Farley.</p> <p>Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Martinsburg Cemetery.<br /> Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and 9 am until the time of the service on Thursday.</p> <p>Memorial Contributions to:<br /> President Benjamin Harrison<br /> Conservation Trust Fund<br /> 402 W. John Sherman Farley, age 60 of Pekin, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 in Baptist Health Floyd New Albany.

Born February 5, 1961 in Man, West Virginia, he is the son of Luchin and Phyllis (Pennington) Farley.

He was an employee of Ford Motor Company in Louisville for 30 years and a member of UAW 862.  He attended Graceland Baptist Church, had been a resident of Washington County for the past 30 years and was a 1979 graduate of Henryville High School.

On July 18, 1981 he married Glinda G. (Snook) Farley, his wife of 40 years.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Martinsburg Cemetery.
