Stephen J. "Bozo" D'Ambrosio Obituary

Stephen J. “Bozo” D'Ambrosio, 66, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Bridgett K. (Hanover) D'Ambrosio for over 41 years. He was born in Providence on October 8, 1955, a son of the late Christino and Helen C. (Caron) D'Ambrosio. Stephen was a courier for FedEx in Warwick for 30 years before retiring in 2015. He took great pride working in his yard, visiting with family and friends on his deck, and spending time with his grandsons. He was a prolific reader, a die-hard New York Football Giants fan, and loved the Beatles and Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Stephen D'Ambrosio II of Coventry; two daughters, Katrice Endo and her husband, Hiro, of Massachusetts and Kara O'Leary and her husband, Corey, of Massachusetts; a brother, Kenneth D'Ambrosio of Johnston; two grandsons, Maxwell and Oliver Endo, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Christopher D'Ambrosio. A visitation to which family and friends are invited to attend will be held on Thursday, December 2, from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick followed by a prayer service at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Dr. Mega’s GU Cancer Fund at The Miriam Hospital. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to use the online "Tribute Wall" to offer messages of sympathy and condolence along with sharing memories and stories in celebration of Stephen's life.
