Neva Pritchett McKinnon, 78 EAST LIVERPOOL – Neva Pritchett McKinnon, of Glenmoor, passed away Monday afternoon, November 29, 2021, at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness. She was 78. Born in East Liverpool, March 14, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Eva Moffett Chiappone. She worked at Interforest at one time. Above all things in life, Neva loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. “Pete” McKinnon, whom she married April 17, 1970. She was also preceded by a great-grandson, Colton Williams, two grandchildren, Kelly Hanlon and Nicole Duffield, a sister, Lucy Plum, a brother, Bill Pritchett, a stepson, Charles Fredrick McKinnon, and a step-grandchild, Charlie McKinnon. Survivors include three daughters, Samantha Sue Phillips Sonntog and her husband, Jeff, Vicki Phillips Hanlon, and Eva Jane McKinnon Duffield and her husband, Mark, along with a son, Ronald Lee Phillips and his wife, Carol. There are five stepchildren: Linda Susan Montgomery, Katherine Louise Kinder, Sharon Triplett, Peter Wayne McKinnon and Arthur Ray McKinnon. She also leaves two sisters, Eva Swanberg and Roxanna Simpson. There are eleven grandchildren: Jeff Sonntog, Larry Sonntog, Terry Sonntog, Brandi Sonntog, Misty Phillips, Hope Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Chad Hanlon, Mike Hanlon, Mark Duffield and Tyler Duffield, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as a step-grandchild, Krissy Hissam. Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit three hours prior to the service from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery. Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
