Anthony Mulone

Anthony F. Mulone of East Haven, formerly of Branford, died on Sunday November 28, 2021 at Branford Hills Health Care. He was the husband of the late Carol Cheeseman Mulone. He was the father of Linda Cyr (Glen) of Tewksbury, MA and Anthony Mulone (Kim) of Branford. He was the brother of Rose Saldibar of West Haven. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Caralyn and Heather who meant the world to him. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother Eugene Mulone and his sister Theresa Santora. Anthony was born in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. on July 27, 1934, a son of Frank and Theresa Lobalbo Mulone. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of the V.F.W. in Branford. He was a Roofer and Glazier for Yale University for 28 years. After he retired, he moved to Cobleskill, N.Y., where he resided for many years and enjoyed hunting before returning to Branford. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching baseball and catching up at the monthly Yale Retiree breakfast. Friends may call Friday, December 3, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 24 North Main St. Branford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday December 4, 2021 at 10:00 at St. Therese Church of St. John Bosco Parish in Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or go to www.diabetesw.org.
