Marian E. Hildebrand
<p>Marian E. Hildebrand "Grandy", 97, of Sheboygan died on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Sheboygan Progressive Health Services. She was born in Connellsville, PA on March 20, 1924, to the late Raymond and Alma (Walker) Towzey. She graduated from Withrow High School and furthered her education at Christ Hospital of Nursing, graduating in 1946, both in Cincinnati, OH. On November 4, 1944, Marian was united in marriage to Dr. James Hildebrand in Cincinnati, OH. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2011.</p> <p> </p> <p>She was a volunteer nurse at North High School for many years. Marian was a member of First Congregational Church.</p> <p> </p> <p>Marian was a very accomplished pianist, having attended the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music while in high school. She performed in a variety of local music concerts and recitals. </p> <p> </p> <p>Marian is survived by five children; Jim (Peggy) Hildebrand of St. Paul, MN, Sandra Kampman, Michael (Christine) Hildebrand, Scott (Mary) Hildebrand, and Amy (Joel) Malson all of Sheboygan; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and other family and friends.</p> <p> </p> <p>Along with her parents and husband, Marian was preceded in death by a daughter Carol Davis; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Henry Ryan, Sarah Beth Ryan, Jamie Giles Hildebrand and Bernadette Mary Lorge and sisters, Barbara (Robert) Holmes, Patricia (Charles) Gruen and Charlotte Towzey.</p> <p> </p> <p>A Memorial Service for Marian will be held at NOON on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th St. with Rev. James Hollister officiating. Family will greet visitors on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.</p> <p> </p> <p>Memorial donations can be made in Marian's name to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.</p> <p> </p> <p>The family would like to thank the staff at both Sheboygan Progressive Health Services and Sharon S.
