Virgil Keith Griggs

Virgil Keith Griggs was born on October 17, 1960 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Virgil Griggs and Estelle (Triplett) Cooper. Keith was brought home to Heaven on November 24, 2021. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Wayne Griggs. <br><br>As a child, Keith loved the outdoors. He always talked about spending the night at his grandma’s and listening to all the animals at night. On July 6, 1990 Keith married the love of his life, Renae, and they settled down in Fort Gibson. He worked construction and then worked at ACME until his medical retirement in 2018. He loved being a Papaw and one of his favorite things was picking his granddaughter, Auria, up after school and taking her to McDonald’s to get her a happy meal. Keith loved traveling and one of his favorite places to travel to was Yellowstone in Wyoming. <br><br>He is survived by his wife Renae, of the home. Son, Michael Miley and his wife, Brooke; Son, Charles Collins and his wife, Caroline; Daughter, Connie Stepp and her husband Brandon; Daughters Jennie and Alyssa Griggs; Sisters, Michelle Rayon and Sherry McKinness and his grandkids that he loved and adored.<br><br>Services will be 2:pm Friday December 3, 2021 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Service in Fort Gibson

Obituary

Virgil Keith Griggs was born on October 17, 1960 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Virgil Griggs and Estelle (Triplett) Cooper. Keith was brought home to Heaven on November 24, 2021. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Wayne Griggs.
