Levi J. P. Troyer

Levi J.P. Troyer 82, of 6702 TR 113, Millersburg, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at his residence after a short illness. He was born on March 11, 1939 in Holmes County, to the late John P. and Mattie D. (Miller) Troyer. On December 17, 1964 he married Lizzie R. Raber who survives. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church where he was ordained as deacon on October 5, 1973. He is survived by his wife Lizzie and their four sons; Junior Troyer of the home, David (Ada) Troyer, Daniel (Emmy Lou) Troyer, Norman (Esther) Troyer and two daughters, Lena (Ivan) Burkholder and Ella (Daniel) Schlabach all of Millersburg; 33 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; one brother, David J. (Fannie) Troyer; three sisters, Ada (late Roman) Schlabach, Anna Troyer all of Sugarcreek and Sarah (late Albert, Jr.) Raber of Baltic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Anita Burkholder; two infant brothers; two infant sisters; and two brothers-in-law, Roman J. Schlabach and Albert A. Raber, Jr. Funeral services will be held at the David L. Troyer residence, 6781 TR 113, Millersburg, on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. with Bishop Jerry M. Mast officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery, Mechanic Township. Friends may call at the David L. Troyer residence after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday and anytime on Wednesday.
